Mental Age Test
If you are 23 years of age or over and applying through the CAO for a Nursing or Midiwfery degree in Ireland, you will have to sit an online assessment test in April. This is a computer-based assessment. You must be successful in The Assessment Test before being considered for on an offer for your chosen nursing degree course. Information about the assessment test and familiarisation material is released in advance of the official exam. This test is designed to measure the ability to understand information in a series of passages.
The study describes the development of the Developmental Tasks Questionnaire for Seniors DTQ-S , intended for assessing the level of developmental tasks attainment in old age, and evaluates its psychometric properties. Confirmatory Factor Analysis demonstrated that the model had a satisfactory fit. Preliminary results suggest that the DTQ-S has adequate convergent and divergent validity. The DTQ-S can be a useful tool for understanding the psychological functioning of seniors for content related to adapting to old age.
